The European Commission on 20 July published the Calls for Proposals of the second phase of the PPP European Green Cars Initiative covering aspects of the Transport, NMP, ICT and Environment themes of the 7th
Framework Programme. The major focus is on electric and hybrid vehicles, nevertheless research for heavy duty vehicles based on internal combustion engines and logistics and co-modality are considered as well. In order to facilitate the participation of interested stakeholders in the European Green Cars Initiative and particularly in this call VDI/VDE-IT, EPoSS and ICT4FEV will jointly organize a Strategy and Networking Event.
