Under the patronage of Hiltrud Breyer and Dr. Helga Trüpel, both Members of the European Parliament, the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres will present their School Labs (see attached photos) with exciting educational experiments in the European Parliament in Brussels.
During the week of 19 - 23 March 2007, you can find answers to questions like:
Can water be stacked?
How can we become weightless?
During this week several other events will take place:
Hiltrud Breyer MEP, Dr. Helga Trüpel MEP and the President of the Helmholtz Association, Professor Jürgen Mlynek, cordially invite you and your family to the opening ceremony of the hands-on School Lab Exhibition, which will take place on
Tuesday 20 March 2007, 6 pm, European Parliament in Brussels
Speakers from the European Commission and other European research institutions and the press are invited.
Four workshops with the following themes will take place on Wednesday 21 March 2007 in Brussels (exact location will be confirmed later)
